Just the Beginning

Hey Y'all! Welcome to my blog! My name is Amanda and I am excited to share this blog with you. 

I used to have a blog a couple years ago and LOVED to write and share different posts, but I felt like it was time to stop writing at the time. Now I am very excited to have created a new blog and start sharing events, memories, and what is on my heart at times. 

So, the title for my blog came after a long time thinking on it. I wanted this to be a place to share memories and my thoughts every now and then...to somehow encourage others along the way. So I came up with "Every Mile a Memory". Kinda like the song by Dierks Bentley-

Every mile, a memory; every song, another scene,
From some old movie going back in time...
Every day, a page turned down; every night, a lonesome sound,
Like a freight train rollin' through my dreams
Every mile, a memory.

For every mile, there's a memory. :) No matter what we are doing or where we are heading...there's always a memory to be made. God has given us our life to live and we are here to make the most of it for Him. 

So, here's a little about me.

I am a small town Virginia girl who has thankfully grown up in a Christian home/family all my life. I am very thankful for the godly influence my parents have had on me through the years. My church family and friends have also played a huge part in who I am.

It is pretty easy to say that I am a huge family girl. I LOVE my family. And that includes my friends who I have known for most of my life. 

What matters most to me are the relationships I have with the people in my life.

These are my favorite people in my life! They are always there for me and I know I can count on them forever. I am so thankful that God chose me to be a part of their lives!

Fun Facts about me:

I am 22 years old. I LOVE food-Mexican, Italian, chocolate, coffee, and sweet tea! I love the color orange. I am obsessed with watching HGTV- the Property Brothers, House Hunters, and House Hunters International are my favorites. I love to cook anything and everything. I love to read. Fall is my favorite season. I love dogs, especially my Golden Retriever, Manny. I love all things Southern and vintage. I love music-country, worship music, and classics! And of course, I love spending time with the people I love!
